    Product Description:
Urea is a simple organic compound with the formula CO(NH_)_. It is a colorless, crystalline solid and the primary nitrogen-containing end product of protein metabolism in mammals. As a highly water-soluble molecule, it is produced industrially in massive quantities from ammonia and carbon dioxide. Its most significant application is as a nitrogen-release fertilizer in agriculture, accounting for over 90% of global production. In this role, it provides a highly concentrated source of nitrogen to promote plant growth. Additionally, urea is a key raw material in the chemical industry for producing urea-formaldehyde resins, melamine, and various adhesives. It also serves as a denaturant in biochemistry, a humectant in cosmetics and skincare products, and a reducing agent in diesel exhaust fluids (DEF) to control NOx emissions.
